I think I finally understand the concept of a business model.  Can you imagine that?  Its hovering in front of me now and I think I can just barely see the details.  The part that's always been missing from FileEngine is: How do you find customers at a price you can afford?  Mark Hill told me to be prepared for much higher cost of sales.  I thought selling FileEngines would be easy because of my personal experience.  I underestimated the difficulty of scaling personal relationships...they don't scale.  And selling a 'server' is useless.  Competing with Microsoft is pointless.  Partnering with Novell was stupid.
